Sharing a story with your child is extremely enjoyable so why not use that opportunity to help your child develop reading and comprehension skills whilst they are spending valuable time with you and a book. Parents of the children in EYFS will be invited to attend 'A read with your child' workshop. You will be invited to watch recorded clips of children sharing a story with an adult to gain actual first hand experience of how to develop your child's reading skills through questioning. There will be an open discussion with teachers of how to get the most out of reading with your child.
