You will receive all your information about your child’s appeal by email and so it is important that if you have changed your email address since you submitted your appeal that you inform decisionmakingandscrutiny@salford.gov.uk.
The important information for your appeal | Timescale |

You will receive an acknowledgement email so you know your appeal application has been received and is being dealt with. | Within two weeks of submitting your appeal. |
You will receive a formal invite by email for your appeal hearing telling you the date and time. | At least ten school days before the date of your appeal hearing. |
You can submit any evidence for your appeal hearing to accompany your appeal application form. | Seven working days before your appeal hearing. |
You will receive the papers for your appeal hearing. This will include how the hearing works, the statement from the school, your appeal application form and your evidence. | Five working days before your appeal hearing. |
You will receive an email telling you the decision for your appeal. | At the end of the day when the decision meeting for your appeal is held. |
You will receive a full decision letter by email. | Within five school days of the decision meeting for your appeal, where possible. |
