The Egg Drop

Autumn half term is going to be a very egg-citing time. Year 6 have been set a challenge to drop an egg from height, keep it in the air for as long as possible and then ensure a safe landing with no cracking.

The children have already been busy thinking about design ideas and visited the Air and Space museum at the MOSI. Here the children looked at air craft designs and evaluated their effectiveness.

From researching the designs, the children then created their own ideas thinking about which design they thought would be most effective and why.
