The Promise
Year 6 fully embraced the screening of The Promise from the moment they entered the classroom, to the moment they left to go home. The children used their journey to school to appreciate the greenery around them by collecting leaves to share in class.

The focus of the day was to really appreciate the nature that surrounds our school. To do this, the children went outside to collect as many different leaves they could find with a view to grouping and classifying them.

from this, Year 6 created classification trees to identify other unknown leaves using their observational skills.
