WORLD BOOK DAY

We love books!

We love stories.

And World Book Day is just another excuse for us to celebrate just how much we love to share a story.

Along with the rest of our school, we created a "Book in a Box" with our families at home. We could share our favourite story with the rest of the school.

We were also given the opportunity to dress up as our favourite story character and we really enjoyed being given the opportunity to tell our friends all about our favourite books and why we had chosen to be our character for the day.

Using the Green Screen we chose our own background to bring our character to life!

In Year 2 we learned a special song for World Book Day, encouraging others to pick up a book and get lost in a wonderful world of imagination!
