Iron Man
In Year 3, we’ve been reading the exciting story of The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. The book takes us on a thrilling adventure with a giant metal robot who appears in a small, quiet town and causes quite a stir. As we follow the Iron Man's journey, we discover how he interacts with the humans around him and how he learns about friendship, bravery, and doing the right thing. Through creative activities, we’ve been able to bring the story to life by writing our own versions, creating artwork, and exploring the themes of the story. It’s been a fantastic way to improve our reading, writing, and imagination, all while diving into an unforgettable adventure. We celebrated the end of our learning journey with a special movie night after school to watch the Iron Giant movie which is an adaptation of the novel Iron Man.
