Preferential Option for the Poor and Vulnurable

Catholic Social Teaching  calls society to prioritize the needs of those who are most at risk. It reminds us that how we treat the poorest among us is a true measure of justice and compassion. By protecting  the poor, the elderly , the sick and the vulnerable, we respect human dignity and work toward a more loving and inclusive world.

Today we listened to story called Maddi's Fridge, which reminded us that not everybody has got a lot of food to choose from when they are hungry. When people do not have enough food, they can go to places called soup kitchens where thy can enjoy a lovely warm meal. We worked hard today in our soup kitchen, cooking up some delicious recipes for those who do not have enough food to eat.
