Stone Age to Iron Age
Stone Age Cave Paintings
During our Stone Age to Iron Age topic we spent time looking at a range of cave paintings, looking carefully at what animals they portrayed and what this might tell us about the Stone Age.
To create our cave paintings we first made a simple printing block using card and string. We then used block printing ink and rollers to roll ink onto our printing block. We layered a range of brown and red colours to create interesting effects.
