The children have been looking closely at the 3 Wise men (Kings) travelling to Bethlehem to see the baby Jesus and to deliver their gifts.
We explored and wondered what they may have seen on their journey, why they gave Jesus the gifts they did and what gifts the children would give if they had met Jesus? "A bible" Elias " A book" Natan "A teddy to help him sleep" Arnie " A blanket to keep him warm" Giovanna.
We talked about Jesus as he became an adult. Galilee was where Jesus grew up and played as a child, and where He helped people and taught them to love God and each other. Jerusalem was a big, special city where people went to pray and worship God. When Jesus travelled from Galilee to Jerusalem, it was like going on a long journey with an important purpose. This journey helps us remember that Jesus went where God wanted Him to go, even when it was hard, because He loved everyone so much.
