Family and community are the heart of Catholic Social Teaching, reminding us that people are not meant to live in isolation. Families are the first place where love, values, and responsibility are learned, while communities help people grow, support one another, and work toward the common good. CST teaches that strong families build strong communities, and in turn, caring communities protect the dignity of every person and ensure no one is left behind.
