Year 3 have been on an exciting journey through time in our Rocks and Fossils topic! We have explored the different types of rocks, igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic and discovered how they are formed. One of the most exciting parts of our learning was our trip to Manchester Museum, where we got to see incredible fossils up close, including dinosaur skeletons and prehistoric creatures from millions of years ago! We learned all about how fossils are formed and the amazing work of paleontologists like Mary Anning. The trip brought our learning to life, and we loved exploring the museum’s fossil exhibition. Year 3 have had an unforgettable experience uncovering the secrets of the past!
