Exploring Plants in Year 3

In Year 3, we dive into the amazing world of plants, learning how they grow, what they need to survive, and why they are so important to our planet.

One of the highlights of this year has been planting our very own sunflowers! We carefully planted the seeds, watered them, and watched with excitement as they sprouted and grew taller each day. Along the way, we explored the different parts of plants their roots, stems, leaves, and flowers and discovered how they work together to keep the plant healthy. We also learnt about pollination, seed dispersal, and the role of plants in nature. Through hands-on activities and fun experiments, we observed how sunlight, water, and soil help plants thrive. Most of all, we developed a deeper appreciation for nature and the environment around us!
