Year 2 learnt about basic colour theory by studying the colour wheel and colour mixing. We created our own colour wheels using only primary colours, mixing them together to make the secondary colours too. 

We used the different colours mixed to block print which created texture in our artwork. 

We also used the primary and secondary colours we had mixed to paint patterns. 

We used our designs as a background to introduce ourselves to anyone who visits our classroom.
