Geography
As part of our Coast topic, Year 2 visited Lytham St Anne's. We found lots of examples of human features of the coastline; shops, the pier, a lake, and also many physical features; the beach, the sand dunes and the bay.
As well as practising our geographical fieldwork skills, we had time to enjoy the coastline. We played, foraged for things washed up on the shoreline, ate ice-cream and had a sandcastle competition.
