Movers and Shakers

As part of our Movers and Shakers topic, Year 2 have explored the lives of some of history's most significant explorers, artists and activists. 

 

One of the people we have studied is Emmeline Pankhurst. Born in Manchester, Emmeline Pankhurst fought for women's right to vote.

 

We visited the People's History Museum where we found out a lot about her life as an activist, as well as many other historical people who fought for what they believed in.
