Looking for signs of Autumn in Heaton Park

Our Nursery class had a wonderful trip to Heaton Park to look for the signs of autumn! The children enjoyed exploring the park, wrapped up warm in their coats and hats. They collected colourful fallen leaves, spotted shiny conkers and acorns, and talked about how the trees were changing. In the pictures, you can see the children proudly holding their leaf collections, looking closely at their discoveries and walking together through the crunchy leaves!
