We have had an excellent first week back in school. Our topic for our final half term is all about the big wide world! We have been super busy using different crafts and materials to create our beautiful planet Earth. We discussed how the green part is land, for humans and animals and the blue parts are different seas and oceans, for sea creatures and boats.
The children have enjoyed exploring different methods of travel and were inspired by a picture of Manchester Piccadilly Train Station to recreate it in their play!
Some fabulous team work when creating a mini airport.
Our travel agent role play has opened for business! Nursery have been busy exploring different parts of the world, deciding where they would like to travel to and what they might need to pack.
Aye, aye, captain!
Some imaginative water play.
