What a freezing start to 2026! We have welcomed the children back into school this week, and we have been very excited to see all of the snow in our playground!
The children could not believe who made an appearance in our classroom this week....
Jack Frost has been very silly and left all of his ice in our water tray!!! We had so much fun exploring the ice, painting it, and working as a team to discover ways to melt it.
Well done to all of the mathematicians in our classroom this week. They have been working hard to match numerals to amounts.
We have been learning about how the Three Wise Men took gifts to Baby Jesus when he was born in a stable. We have decided to wrap some gifts too for Jesus, to show him how grateful we are for him. The children were very good with their scissor skills and using the cellotape to stick the wrapping paper together. They had so much fun designing their own wrapping paper using different colours of paint and glitter!
