Saint Lucy
Year 2 learnt about St Lucy. We found out that her name means ‘light’. We held a St Lucy’s Day celebration in class. One of the girls dressed as St Lucy in a white dress and a head-dress with seven candles on it. She gave out gingerbread biscuits for us to decorate as we listened to a song to St Lucy. We thought about what we could do to ‘Shine our lights’ to share the gifts we have with others.
