On The Beach

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside, Oh I do like to be beside the sea.......

We had an amazing day in Southport. As we parked the minibuses, we saw the sea in the distance. The children were so excited and could not wait to explore the beach, they were given buckets, spades, scoops, rakes and moulds. What would they find?

Everyone was engaged in an activity, some children were working together to build sand castles,  others were digging in the sand until they reached pools of water, the children were amazed by this. "Mrs Mc Fadden, come and look at my hole", Luigi said excitedly!

"Will the tide come in", Mila asked. " This is rubbish, it will hurt the fish", Alex said.

The children collected driftwood and lots of different shells and pebbles to take back to school.

Time to relax with an ice lolly before heading back to Salford!  It was a fantastic experience that everyone said they had enjoyed.
