Operation Christmas Child - Shoebox Appeal

This year, our Caritas Ambassadors chose to support Samaritan's Purse in their Operation Christmas Child appeal. 

We appealed to our school community for donations of Christmas gifts such as cuddly toys, games, balls, hats, gloves and scarves, stationery and hygiene items to send to children in need around the world. We packed these in shoeboxes and wrapped them in Christmas paper. 

 

Through this campaign, we wanted to share Jesus' message of love, compassion and generosity for others. 

Wow! What a response! 28 boxes to send off to children all around the world. Thank you so much for your generosity!
