Our Bodies:
At the start of our Year we received a shocking message. An alien had crash landed and was stuck here on planet Earth. We had to help him!
Throughout Autumn term we have been receiving messages from Yakit, the alien, setting us challenges and research tasks to help him find out more about the human being in order to help him get back home.
When trying to explain what a human is to Yakit, we started with our body. How we have changed since we were born, what our body consists of and how we use it daily.
We created our own set of lungs, built a skeleton and formed a timeline of our lives so far.
Our recent visit to Eureka allowed us to see our skeleton in action, and how muscles work together to help us move.
