Science
We have been testing the effect that friction has on the force needed to move objects. We have used forcemeters to measure the force needed to move a scooter over 3 different surfaces. We recorded our results and then used them to create bar charts.
In year 5 we love Science as we get to do lots of fun and exciting investigations. This term we are focusing on FORCES. We have been designing and building 'hoop gliders' to test the effects of air resistance, have made predictions and tested the effects of gravity and used Newton meters to measure water resistance and its effect on objects.
