Welcome to the Year 6 art gallery inspired by L.S Lowry
Have a look at the brilliant pieces of art created in the style of Lowry. Year 6 welcomed artist Michelle Leigh, who works in partnership with The Lowry, where they developed the skill of perspective drawing. Below you will see how the children have merged Salford Quays today with a person from the times of Lowry to show the change in time.
The day began with perfecting the skill of perspective and learning new techniques such as cross-hatch and spittle to create different effects.
Throughout the day, the children practiced these new skill in different pieces and showed great confidence in their ability. All the children have submitted pieces of art in to a competition and all will be displayed Ina virtual gallery for the world to see!
