Lost and Found

What would you do if a penguin suddenly appeared at your front door?

That's the dilemma Year 1 faced when they returned to school this January.

Should they let him in and become a pet? Or help him return to the Antarctic where he came from?

The children thought about the pros and cons of having a penguin as a pet, and considered the adventure they could have travelling across the world.

In order to help the penguin the children had a series of tasks to complete to help him get back home.

Working collaboratively, the children have created their own videos retelling the story of the lost penguin, who turned up on the doorstep in Oliver Jeffers book "Lost and Found". Children used the Ipads to film each other and then the App "ThingLink" to sequence the story.

Sit back and enjoy as we tell you a story....
