Religious Education

We all take part in collective worship each day. We start the day with a prayer asking go to help us be the best that we can be. in the afternoon we join each other in collective worship singing songs, saying prayers and learning about God. We talk about the different things that happen in the church year and the different celebrations that happen throughout the year.
To advance or learning in religion this half term we have been talking about belonging. We have learnt about baptism and why catholic's get baptised. We visited Salford Cathedral to find out about what things are used in baptism and what these things represent.

To advance our learning in Religion we have been looking our families. We have been learning that we are all part of God's family and god loves us. The children all drew a picture of their family's and wrote prayers to thank God for different things.
