The National Football Museum

Year 6 were invited to the National football Museum as part of Black History Month. The museum had organised a selection of activities to delve in to the idea of equality and racism within the game of football.

The children began by looking at the definition of racism and discussed what they had seen in the media.

The children then had time to explore the collections within the museum and watched a short film that looked at the evolution of football and different people’s experience of it today.
