Advent
Advent is a time of preparation. Nursery have been learning about the story of Jesus' birth and the ways we celebrate this wonderful time of year. Each week during advent, we lit the candles on the advent wreath to show we were getting closer to the time of Jesus' birth. Make sure you check Google Classroom for the EYFS production 'It's a Nativity'.
Nursery have been busy preparing for Christmas in lots of different ways. We made hats, decorations and cakes for the Christmas party, we made cards for our families, we wrote letters to Father Christmas, we watched the Gruffalo pantomime and even had a very special visitor on party day. What a wonderful time we've had celebrating!
