Year 6 had a great experience at the RHS Bridgewater. They explored the grounds first of all, looking at the wide variety of plants, flowers and crops. The children commented on the different colours and scents they could see and smell.
The children then explored the woodland play area where they used their climbing, balancing and traversing skills.
A session with staff from the centre then enabled the children to further their knowledge about plants. They investigated the different ways plants reproduce and then created their own mint cuttings to cultivate back at school.
