Spellings and Homework 

Spellings

 

Spelling tests are carried out every Tuesday so the tests can be marked and new words given out on the Thursday. Please ensure you learn and practice your spellings. Scores will be given in home spelling books and words children spelt incorrectly will be highlighted green. It is important to go back and revisit these highlighted words as they may appear on the end of term test. 

 

 

Homework 

 

Homework will be given out on a Thursday and collected in on a Tuesday. It is very important you complete your homework tasks as they extend your learning. There will usually be one piece of Literacy alongside spellings, and one piece of maths to be completed. Miss Allen sets extension tasks on Education City and Purple mash each week if you would like to do some extra work whilst having fun and playing some games!
