Problem Solving Workshop
Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed their Problem Solving workshop.
Can you pass a hoop from one end of the line to the other without letting go of hands? - Year 1 can! With agility and teamwork the children worked out the method, with the girls just narrowly being faster than the boys to complete the race!
Working in smaller groups, the children had to use their mathematical skills and shape understanding to create larger shapes from the given pieces. Good communication skills and teamwork were critical to success.
