Energy of God
We have spent this term looking at the gifts the Holy Spirit gives us in energy and power to live the way of Jesus.
In the Bible we saw the Holy Spirit represented by wind and fire. It filled the disciples with courage to carry out the Gospel of Jesus to the world.
We looked at the gifts and fruits that accompany the Spirit and decided which we would work to improve.
'The spirit of the Lord shall rest on him; the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might.' Isaiah 11:2
In this special sacramental year, we had our final visit from Just Youth. They got us to think deeply about what we wanted from our Communion day.
Later we created group alters. This allowed us to use the energy of God to produce something meaningful that would remind us of our journey in Christ.
