Dragon's Egg
During our educational visit to Skipton Castle, we stumbled across an enchanting surprise.... a dragon's egg nestled in the gardens.
Alongside the egg, was a note. A message from the Department of Scientific Exploration. The note told us that the dragon's egg was being entrusted into our care, so that we can raise the dragon and care for him.
The Department of Scientific Exploration have specifically chosen us, Year 1, because children make the best guardians since they are open-minded, fun-loving and, like dragons themselves, a little bit magical!
The Department of Scientific Exploration will be offering support to Year 1 over the next few weeks as we prepare for the hatching, and care for our dragon as it grows.
