Inspired by world poetry day Year Three created their own poems throughout a week writing poems about maths, literacy and every day classroom objects. We had lots of fun being imaginative especially when creating our own lying poem inspired by the poet Jackie Kay. We performed our poems to the class in our own poetry recital.
