Walk to School
Year 1 November Winners!
Our class had the highest percentage of children who actively travelled to school throughout the month of November.
Using the Walk to School Travel Tracker the children log each morning how they have come to school. Points are awarded for walking, riding a bike or scooter, travelling by bus or parking a little further away from school and walking the last 5 minutes (this is called Park and Stride).
In Year 1 23 children achieved the goal of travelling to school in an active way at least once a week. We are proud to have been awarded the school trophy and a Bronze Star! We hope the retain our title for the coming month!
Year One have won the Walk to School award in December and February.
We are the only class in the school to have won the GOLDEN STAR!
