Sense Explorers

Exploring with all our senses:

Yakit the Alien challenged us to find out more about our body. He wanted to know how we explore the world around us and so we become Sense Detectives.

As part of our research we visited Eureka - The National Children's Museum.

Using all of our 5 senses we investigated Fruit and Vegetables, learning where they came from, exploring textures, tastes and colour.

We created food rainbows, painted with berries, tried new tastes, and learned which part of plants we can eat. We were amazed to find out that broccoli is a flower, and that peppers are actually a fruit!

Take a look at our best bits from the session.
