Welcome to Year 5
We hope that you enjoy reading our class web page, where we hope to give you an insight into the work that we do at school and provide useful information about the curriculum and the topics we will be covering throughout the year.
In Year 5, we take the school's Mission Statement very seriously, and are determined to
CHALLENGE, SUPPORT and INSPIRE one another in everything we do.
Everything we do in Year 5 is underpinned by the school’s drivers which are to promote and maintain children’s CURIOSITY, ASPIRATION and RESILIENCE.
We love to celebrate the children’s achievements and will be showcasing some of their fantastic work throughout the year.
We have been very lucky to have an artist in class with us this week from the Lowry Project. Here is some of the fantastic artwork that the children have produced.
Our first Philosophy for Children (P4C) was a huge success and created lots of deep and meaningful discussions.
