Here the children were learning the skills of using the oars to be able to effectively steer the kayaks. However this only came after the initial challenge of putting on the wetsuit!
Once in the water, the children were able to put their oar skills to the test. They explored part of the quays with only a couple of 'man overboard' situations! 🚣♀️
The children also learnt new skills on paddle boards. They had to work in either pairs or a group one on large paddle board to move around on the water successfully.
The final part of the day was met with great delight as the children were instructed to run and jump into the water creating some great splashes.
