Baptism
Reception have been learning all about how a Baptism is a special ceremony when someone is welcomed into God's family. We talked about baptisms we had been to, looked at photos of our own Baptisms and acted out what happens in a baptism.
We then held a baptism for one of the babies in our class. We wrote invitations, got our best clothes on and took on the role of all the important people in a baptism including the Priest, the parents and the Godparents. 'I baptise you in the name of the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit,' we quoted when playing the part of the priest.
