The Wetlands
A Brilliant Bird Feeder
Year 2 were visited by a specialist from the Broughton Trust this week. We were told about an incredible wetlands that's being created in Salford to encourage wildlife to inhabit the area around the River Irwell. We can't wait to visit it in the summer! To encourage wildlife to our local area, Year 2 created some bird feeders. We discovered that it wasn't only the birds who enjoyed the fruits of our work as we spotted some squirrels enjoying a nibble too!
