Year 6 went on a great adventure the the RHS Bridgewater. First the children were able to explore the vast grounds and discover a wide variety of plants and flowers.
Once the children had explored the gardens, they took part in a session to investigate plants further. The session discussed the parts of a plant and their functions and then led to how we can ensure a species survives. The children looked at a mint plant and took cuttings to then form their own clone. The children used the method of propagation and used plastic bags over the top to create its own eco system.
