WRITER'S COMMENTARY
Understanding the effect that your writing creates on the reader, and explaining how you have chosen language in order to do this, helps children to reflect on heir work and be more mindful of their word choices. With this in mind, Miss Greenhalgh asks us to produce 'A Writer's Commentary' about work; an example of which you can see below.
LIGHTHOUSE POETRY
In Year 5 we often use an image to stimulate our creative writing. These pictures were taken on a day we had been given a photograph of a lighthouse and were given the choice of writing any of the poems we had learnt about this year. Enjoy the work of Bailey and Tuguldur.
