ROCKstars

Year 3 became Geologists for a term. We discovered there are 3 main rock types, Sedimentary, Metamorphic and Igneous! After lots of research we were able to notice the differences between the rocks and how they are formed!

Equipped with our new rock information we were able to explain which cake represented which rock, and support our answer with evidence.

We were excited to discover some rocks have parts of animals preserved inside them, that can then become fossils!
