Black History Month

Year 6 focused on influential black people throughout history. There were three main people that the children researched to find out why they are still talked about today. Have a look at the presentations created by some of the Year 6 children to find out more.

Painted portraits are a famous part of the Tudor era. However Year 6 discovered that portraits of black people during the Tudor times existed but were not widely displayed. The children used oil pastel techniques to create their own.
