Our Local Area
Through our Geography topic the land of hope and glory we have started to look at how our local area has changed over time.
We began by discussing where we lived. How we are part of the world, a country and a city.
We have defined human and physical features and sorted the landmarks of the United Kingdom into these categories.
We are now focusing on how the area around us has changed throughout history. Has our school always looked the same? Have the roads always been called the same names? We will thinking about these interesting questions and using atlases and ordinance survey maps to answer them.
