As part of our topic on healthy eating, we looked at different fruits and vegetables. We learnt about the importance of eating different foods and how fruit and vegetables are an important part of our daily food intake. We tasted a range of different fruits and decided to design our own fruit kebabs to encourage us to eat more fruit. The children enjoyed practising their cutting and slicing skills but saved the best bit for last...eating the kebabs! The children all agreed they were delicious.
