Art
We used tone, light and shadow to create a 3D effect. We had a try at drawing an apple. Some of them look good enough to eat.
We are looking at tone- light and shadow in art. Using illustrations from the book The invention of Hugo Cabret we used our drawing techniques that we have learnt to draw out own versions. We are all at different stages.
Colour and tone was the theme behind our art work. We headed of to the art gallery for a workshop. We found paintings of all different types of mood palette and produced our own.
We followed this up in class with Turners painting Vesuvius as our stimulus. We really thought hard about the palettes we would need to recreate this painting.
