What could you do with a box?

We have been listening to the stories 'What to do with a box' by Jane Yolen and 'Big box, Little box' by Caryl Hart. We were surprised at what could be made from a box and as a class we came up with our own ideas.

"An aeroplane" says Ayoub. " A rocket" says Aayan. " A robot" says Yuel.

"A cooker" says Oskar. " A magnificent magnifying glass" says Daniel. " A cat" says Maya.

The children were asked to choose a box from a range of sizes and they were provided with  lots of different materials and tools, including foil, felt, feathers, felt, tissue paper, shiny paper, felt tips, googly eyes and much more. The children worked together, sharing thoughts and ideas. Wow! Your children were amazing in using their creativity and enjoyed sharing their creations with the staff and their friends.

We hope you they made you smile.
