Year 1 follow a structured Religious Education curriculum built around six key branches that introduce children to the foundations of the Christian faith. Through these branches, pupils learn about God as Creator, the special promises God makes with His people, stories from the life of Jesus, the events leading to Easter, life in the Church, and how Christians show respect and understanding towards people of other faiths. This approach helps the children build confidence and curiosity as they begin to explore important religious ideas.
