In Nursery, we follow the Lighting the Path Religious Education scheme, which supports the new To Know You More Clearly Religious Education Directory for Catholic schools in England and Wales.
Through stories, play, music, and creative activities, our youngest children begin to explore the world of faith and belief. They learn about God’s love, special times of celebration, and how we can show kindness and care for one another.
The curriculum encourages awe, wonder, and curiosity, helping children to grow in understanding of themselves, others, and God. Our RE learning is woven through daily experiences, prayer, and reflection, nurturing each child’s spiritual development from their earliest days in school.
Our RE curriculum is enriched by Caritas in Action, a framework that helps children understand how they can live out the values of love, respect, and service in their everyday lives.
